Stiftung Lichtblicke

The foundation supports seriously ill and cancer-stricken children, adolescents and young adults as well as their relatives - during the time of intensive therapy in the hospital as well as in the years afterwards in the context of psychosocial aftercare.

For some years the organization has also focused on outpatient psychosocial aftercare in Munich (www.krebskindernachsorge.de). Here the foundation works very closely as a cooperation partner with the Initiative krebskranke Kinder e.V. Munich (www.krebs-bei-kindern.de) The initiative "Krebskranke Kinder München e.V." is a non-profit association that focuses its activities on the Munich-Schwabing Children's Hospital.

Both - the foundation as well as the initiative - are members of the German Childhood Cancer Foundation in Bonn and support its projects and goals such as social fund, research, forest pirate camp and rehabilitation clinic on Sylt (www.kinderkrebsstiftung.de).
